THE “NEW” MUSIC COMMUNITY

Big record labels are all but dead, scrambling at any chance they get to steal a slice of the pie from the ever more successful indie musicians. Just a few years ago, people like me dreamt about getting signed to a big record label. Since the boom of the home studio, the digital age and the publishing power of the internet I wouldn’t dream of signing a record deal. I make music that I like. I sell it where and how I want to, and I give it to whoever I please. Like any audio engineer I like control and I’m not interested in giving it up.
